Your books, your reflections: The frames we use for our learning

From Frankenstein to The New Jim Crow and Whose Gospel, you delved into the questions that shape your work as communal leaders. I am left with questions about what frames religious and ethical leaders use that lie beyond the scope of a given book. Are television shows, podcasts, or radio programs more salient to us?

Next week, we will be delving into an entirely different topic: mercy, forgiveness, and justice. Given the recent Casey Anthony case (and so many before it), what are the limits of both mercy and justice? Are they mutually exclusive — or inseparable?
